About Us

The SEND Resource Hub is dedicated to supporting parents, carers, and individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as they transition from childhood to a positive and fulfilling adulthood.

Every journey from childhood to adulthood is unique, and for those with disabilities, additional challenges and barriers can arise. Our mission is to provide the right support, guidance, and confidence to help individuals overcome these obstacles and achieve their goals.

Our goal is to empower families and individuals by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and support they may need to confidently secure the opportunities they deserve. The SEND Resource Hub is here to guide parents and carers through the complexities of the SEND system, ensuring that every child and young person has access to the opportunities they need to thrive.

The hub has been founded by Claire Douglas, who has over 20 years experience supporting others and working with the various systems and process in all areas of SEND. Claire regularly shares stories and knowledge from her own personal journey aswell as providing invaluable support and information for parents and carers
